OBCT Money Management for VULNERABLE ADULTS
OBCT Money Management scheme provides a trusted appointeeship service to protect vulnerable adults who are unable to manage their own financial affairs.
Managing the day-to-day finances of our clients is an aspect of our overall service which includes practical and emotional support what we do.
We are a national charity organisation and registered with the UK charity commission with long-standing track record of working with vulnerable youths at risk and elderly member of our communities. We have earned an enviable reputation for supporting people with different needs using creativity and innovation approaches.
Our Open Door Strategy
Our services users range from people with, Elderly, vulnerable Adults and young people, People living with disabilities or individuals who may have been diagnosed with lacking capacity and or suffer from memory loss to people who may be suffering from substance misuse issues and those suffering from mental health conditions.
Our referral avenue range from local authorities to the individuals, NHS, private hospitals, care providers, Solicitors, Accountants, General Practitioners, Psychiatrists and age, mental health or charity to charity.
OBCT Money Management scheme are funded by the Users and other social enterprise support programme*
OBCT Money Management provides a comprehensive daily money management service with a clear monthly fee structure. We do hope for funding from third parties insofar it is restricted funds to enable our operational assistance.
We expect Individuals to pay for this daily money management service directly if alternative funding is not available. We are creative in unearthing funding to ensure solutions for some of our services users.
OBCT fixed monthly fee structure for our daily money management services are as follows:
- Supporting Service Users in Community Settings – £65 PCM
- Supporting Service Users in Nursing or Residential Home Settings – £35 PCM
Managing the daily money management needs of vulnerable people can often be an expensive and time consuming process for care providers, local authorities, family members or other support teams and as such providing an effective money management service can often prove to be problematic and costly for many organisations that do not have the technology or necessary experience in this area.
